Our very own Sandra Greene came 1st Runner-up in The FANTASTIC Hairdresser Award (Business Award) at this years Alfaparf Fantastic Hairdresser Awards 2013 held at the Silver Springs Hotel in Cork. The atmosphere was electric as Brendan Courtney had the crowd eating from the palm of his hands.
Sandra loves to perform, loves to be on stage showcasing her talents but entering this competition was an opportunity for her to really evaluate her career to date. It’s a different aspect and made her look at where she wants to be in 5 years time, what makes her tick, keeps her motivated and above all what keeps her passion alive.
“I love making people feel fantastic and there’s no better feeling than seeing a smile on a clients face when they love their hair. I feel that good client consultation is extremely important and I have developed a wonderful relationship with my client, which leads to great excitement and enthusiasm for the finished style. Performing on stage and at competitions is where I come alive and feel at home while developing my skills and being creative. Being involved with fashion and keeing with the latest trends, to me, keeps my passion alive.”
